What is Direct Access Scheme (DAS) for Motorbikes and Motorcycles?
Direct Access was created at the same time as the A2 Restricted Licence, so that people over the age of 21 would not have to wait two years after passing a practical motorcycle test to ride a motorbike with a power output over 33bhp.
Both tests (Off Road Manoeuvres Test and Practical Road Test) have to be taken on a large capacity motorcycle over 46.6 bhp.
DAS Motorcycle Training London
We run various DAS courses in London to suit your needs from individual courses for each test, an experienced motorcycle training course and a novice motorbike training course.
On all courses you will receive a high level of instruction and practice time to develop the appropriate skills. We also supply study material for the Theory Test which we are happy to book for you as part of novice motorcycle training course.

DAS Part 1 – £305
Part 1 DAS courses are designed for people currently riding a 125cc on the road and wish to take a Part 1 (Off Road Manoeuvres test) on a 500cc motorbike.
Course includes:

- Off Road Manoeuvres Test (Part 1)
DAS Part 2 – £275
Part 2 DAS courses are designed for people currently riding a 125cc on the road or with experience on a 125cc and have taken a Part 1 Test on a 500cc.

- 1 Day On Road Training
- Practical Road Test (Part 2)
DAS (Experienced) - £550
DAS courses are designed for people wishing to achieve a full motorcycle license straight away and are over the age of 21.
Course includes:
